045 • What is Fundamentalised?
When I first started writing this newsletter, I thought it would be all about productivity and creativity.
Even now, that's how I describe it in the plugs at the bottom of articles, and in any other places that I share it.
But I looked through all 44 (and counting) pieces that I've written so far for this newsletter and it turned out that I'd been covering many more topics than just the standard productivity and creativity.
And seeing as a lot of the publications I enjoy on Substack have these indexes, I thought it was about time that I created a central point of reference for everyone who lands on the home page.
I've segmented all the pieces I've written into certain tags, allowing you to search for new content only under the topics you're interested in.
A couple of the most frequent topics are...
Productivity
Although I say that productivity is not the entire focus of this publication, a lot of what I write about is related to the topic. I've gone from spending all day doing nothing but wasting time on social media apps, games and the like to writing every day for this personal brand that I now have. It’s only right that I feel as though I’ve got a lot to share.
Here are some of the best issues on productivity (I’m going to give only a couple in the email so that the deliverability is not affected. See the full web version for more links to more pieces)…
Mental health
I thought I'd mostly be writing about productivity, creativity and personal knowledge management when I started this newsletter. But after having a look through what I'd written over the last year the other day, mental health was one of the most prevalent topics too. So here are some of the best on mental health...
Essays
I've also written a few pieces on Fundamentalised that don't properly count as issues. I like to call them ‘notes (slash) essays’. They talk about everything, often tackling the existential things that I'm trying to figure out myself. There's a special place for them on the front page of the publication.
I recommend...
That's what I've got for you this week. As I said, I'll be updating this list as a kind of introduction to the publication but I thought it would serve as a good issue too seeing as many have joined in the last few months and might be missing out on some of the old and gold posts.
See you next week!
What I’ve written this week…
How Photography Fits Into My PKM - I’ve been taking photos for much, much longer than I’ve been writing. So naturally, I’ve got a lot of images to store and organise. This piece explains how I do it.
The 3 Apps Responsible for Building My Life - I switch apps often. However, these three have been pretty much constant since I started building on the internet.
